I’m Phillip—a lifelong boatsman, dreamer, and doer—on a mission to breathe new life into a boat just like the one I grew up sailing with my family. While Genie isn’t the exact vessel from my childhood, she carries the same spirit and soul. This project blends deep-rooted nostalgia with a forward-looking vision for modern cruising.

What began as a dream to return to the water has evolved into a full-scale restoration journey. We’re rebuilding Genie from the keel up—modernizing every system, reimagining her design, and documenting every challenge, breakthrough, and lesson along the way.
